If the propellant in any of the rounds varies even slightly (just 2/10 of one grain), the entire system will stop and that round get rejected. Additionally the Full Metal Jacket rounds are developed with a lead core bullet, enclosed in a heavy copper topcoat, subsequently having little to no expansion and a more profound penetration of the bullet. 9mm Luger ammo by PMC Bronze is new production and non-corrosive, featuring boxer primers and brass casing.
